Our Staff

Julie Moore, DVM - graduated from UGA college of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2000. Has worked as an associate veterinarian in Watkinsville and the Lake Oconee Area, and as a relief veterinarian for many vets in the surrounding area. Currently the medical director of the Animal Emergency Hospital. Julie is married with 2 small children and a farm full of animals including dogs, cats, goats, chickens, and fish.

Mike Brandon, DVM - graduated from the UGA college of Veterinary Medicine. Has owned his own practice, and currently works as a veterinarian for Banfield, as well as full time at the Animal Emergency Hospital. He is married with children and several pets.

De Anna Bedard, RVT - graduated from Athens Technical College as a registered veterinary technician. She also works as a technician at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital. De Anna is particularly tallented in neonatal care.

Tawni Pryor, DVM - graduated from the UGA college of Veterinary Medicine. She is currently working as a veterinary assistant at the Animal Emergency Hospital while studying to take her board exams. Tawni also works for Dr. Jacobs at his consulting practice in Athens.
